SAP Delivery Methodology
This section of SAP Delivery Methodology offers you with an overview of ASAP methodology, which SL Technology will follow during mySAP implementation. ASAP implementation roadmap includes five general phases:
1. Project Preparation
- In this phase, our team goes through primary planning and preparations for SAP project, which includes:
- Defining project objectives and goals
- Clarifying the sc objective of implementation
- Defining the project schedule, implementation sequence, and budget plan
- Establishing the project’s organization and related committees, and assigning the resources
2. Blueprint of Business
The aim of this particular phase is to attain an understanding of how a company aims to run SAP in order to support its trade. In addition, the goals and objectives of original project will be refined easily and the project’s schedule will be revised. The result is Business Blueprint, a through documentation of the result gathered during requirements workshop.
3. Realization
The aim of realization is to apply all the business procedure requirements depending on Business Blueprint. This system’s configuration methodology is offered in two different work packages: Baseline (key scope) and the Final configuration (remaining). Integration testing also is conducted and the end-user documents are prepared in this phase.
4. Final Preparations
The aim of this segment is to do the final preparations (including testing, system management, end user training, and cutover activities) in order to finalize your willingness to go live. Final Preparation stage also serves to determine all vital open issues.
5. Go Live and Support
The aim of this is to shift from a pre-production, project-oriented environment to live operations. The most essential elements include monitoring system transactions, setting production support, and optimizing system performance on the whole.
Global Delivery
SL Technology has SAP technical and functional specialists at its office worldwide, which offers us great flexibility to provide both off-shore and onsite solutions and services. We have had huge success in implementing SAP applications by using a combined off-shore/ onsite delivery model wherein functional work happens at the customer’s site, but most technical work is done from our own off-shore facilities. Off-shore component enables us to reduce the cost of the project significantly and to speed up the time by having the off-shore and onsite teams working in parallel.
